Dean Allison was elected as the first MP for the new riding of Niagara West- Glanbrook on June 28, 2004, and was re-elected with a resounding majority on January 23rd, 2006.

Since taking office, Dean has served on a number of committees including Public Accounts, International Trade, and serves as the Chair of both the Liasion, and Human Resources Skills Development and Status of Persons with Disabilities committees. In addition Dean served on the Advisory Panel on the Funding of Officers of Parliament.

Dean is a highly respected member of the Conservative caucus and has been recognized by the Prime Minister for his commitment, efforts and abilities.

Dean is a strong advocate for his constituents and works tirelessly on their behalf. Through his efforts hundreds of individuals and numerous businesses have seen a positive result. He is well respected throughout the communities of Niagara West-Glanbrook and can often be found at many of the various events and meetings throughout the riding.
